Good Physical Condition
Most of a Private Detective’s work involves physical activity. Trailing a suspect, surveillance. Interviewing people in various locations, and sometimes the activity can get rough. A private detective has the potential for confrontations with suspects that can get physical.
In The Huge Snooze Rocky needed to talk to the tough owner of a rough bar in a bad neighborhood. Rocky had to climb a flight of stairs to reach the owner’s second floor office. As Rocky came to the top of the stairs, his way was blocked by a big thug. We don’t know much about Rocky’s earlier life, but it is thought he spent time in Asia, both as a soldier and later as a civilian, and that he studied martial arts.
